I discovered this site when it was listed as a Blog of Note. It's called Indexed and it's little mathematical charts and graphs that depict funny truths. Now, I'm not a mathematician - in fact I probably wouldn't have passed any of my high school math classes without having sat in front of the very smart Josh Phillips. But this is the kind of math I can get behind.

i just have to say that i'm NOT a fan of leggings. australia, however, has a different idea. they LOVE LOVE LOVE them here. yesterday when i was shopping i was looking for sexy tights/pantyhose and instead found "capri footless leggings." NO. not unless you are at the gym people.
I'm not sure even then, Nik. not sure at all. . .
I live in fear that this is going to be one of those fashion trends that I start out morally opposed to and then eventually embrace. I was against capri pants for a long time...and I still haven't given in to gauchos. And as for leggings...must...be...strong.
I worry about that, too, as I was also opposed to capri pants for the longest time (but I'm still with you, Ash, on the gauchos). I'm hoping that the fact that I am no longer sixteen will keep me away from leggings, because unless I suddenly wake up with my 16-year-old body, there is no way in hell I would even dare to put something like that on. This (along with tapered pants) is one of those trends that the average person just does NOT look good in.
I'm still weary on the capris (mostly beacuse Greg hates them, so I won't hear the end of it if I wear them, but also beacuse I'm short and they just don't work) but I had a pair of maternity gauchos and I LOVE them. Still love them. Greg hates them of course, but when I was pregnant, did I care? These are a sort of dressy black pair and they were ubber comfy.
