Fulton County (Atlanta, for y'all non-Georgians) District Attorney Paul Howard is under fire for alleged extraneous expenditures by the DA's office. Among them? $89 for a cape emblazoned with Super Lawyer. Discuss amongst yourselves. (And by the way, the cape was worn by one of the DA's employees at the Christmas party. Whose catering bill totalled $4,000. Bet those were super hors d'oeuvres.)

I'm sure I should be upset about a misuse of taxpayers' money, but all I can think is how truly hilarious and kind of awesome it all is. I would totally be happier at work if I had on a super cape.
I think that Nik deserves a Super Lawyer cape! I'll chip in if you will!
I agree. We need a super lawyer cape for Nik. She can wear it to court. Will wow the jury AND the judge.
thats a total morale booster. i say let 'em spend it.
oh, come on. every DA needs a cape. if only to make that feeling of "superhero" truly come alive.
I admit, I kind of love it. I mean, Super Lawyer.
I need a Super Marketer cape. Only...I think there might be some confusion there...
thanks guys! i'd TOTALLY wear a super lawyer cape (and frankly, i think it would suit me better than the damn business attire i am currently wearing to court).
on another note, i can't wait to tell everyone at the office about this story tomorrow. maybe we can get one for our christmas party, too! (or hell, halloween is closer)
